Haseeb Ahmed is a 25 year old law and politics graduate from UWE (university of west of England) in Bristol and a Music Entrepreneur.

I moved to Bristol when I was at for university and have always been socially gifted. In January 2011 I took over Java nightclub in Bristol which in the short space of a year has hit capacity every Saturday night and has earned the reputation of Bristols most in demand and Saturday night hotspot.

Upon the success of Java and the Saturday nights I had a vision of creating a night where the focus would be on music. A night where instead of playing the commercial everyday music that is played on a standard night out, music from the Old Skool and Garage scene could be a focus.

This idea produced "Vinyl". Which is a night dedicated to Old Skool and Garage. Something which is in high demand but a concept that hasn't been followed through and given justice.

My intention is to take Vinyl to maximum heights and to establish it as a global brand in time. Raise brand awareness and to put it self out there as a night which is renowned for its incredible music and it's classy an friendly set up.

The launch night of vinyl broke every single positive record for the venue it was held in and this success is what I envisage for Vinyl in the future and we will be taking it International!

On May 4th Java brings back Vinyl, Bristol’s brand new night dedicated entirely to the finest old skool and UK garage anthems. After a huge launch attracting over 1000 people at the doors, Vinyl part 2 is set to be another record breaking event with headline DJ’s Bilal and Squire

Normal Entry £6/ Guest list £5 (Text “Vinyl” + names to 07799 427332)
