To celebrate the launch of the first UK edition, Asian Lifestyle Magazine held their launch party at the prestigious 5 Star Hotel; The Grange St Paul's Hotel in London.

The party took off at 7:30 on the Royal roof terrace overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, where cocktails and canapés were served. Emily Burridge played the cello, creating a calm backdrop atmosphere, for guests to mingle with the likes of fitness trainer Yvette Shaw, British writer and play writer Farrukh Dhondy and Lancashire cricketer Sajid Mahmood and his family. There was also the Latvian contingent, animator and illustrator Ruslan and Casan Eldaron, singer and fashion model Kristine Isajeva and the High Commissioner of Pakistan with his entourage. British actor Irfan Hussain of Spielberg’s War Horse movie and Bollywood actress Aruna Shields were also present, not to mention 80's singer songwriter Natasha England.

Invites had also gone out to Director Gurinder Chadha, Lord Bilimoria CBE, Pinky Lilani OBE, Iqbal Wahhab OBE as well as Hollywood Actor Colin Salmon all of whom were unable to attend but sent their apology.

At 9pm the party moved to level -3 at the exclusive Club X suite. Where Asian Lifestyle Magazine Group Chief Editor Viraj Yadav, thanked everyone for attending and informed guests of the evenings entertainment of dance, fashion and music & proceeded to hand the mic over to managing director of the magazine Kash Akram, who thanked his sponsors and guests for attending.

To warm up the crowd, DJ Fritz played some soft soul anthems mixed with Asian hits, this was followed by star DJ Mike Andre who turned up the heat as celebrity guest Vanessa Feltz, in a plunging, purple fitted dress and the remaining guests took their seats.

First up to entertain the crowd was Angelo Ruggieri and Paola Langella who came strutting out, Angelo in a black chiffon shirt, fitted pants and a cumberband, as for Paola, she wore a red thigh high cut, backless lace dress. The pair wowed the crowd, with their acrobatic tango moves, when Angelo hurtled Paola over his head and span her around to the floor, clutching only her ankles and wrists.

Next up was a series of fashion shows. First, was Munfrid Styles, this collection was a rich colourful profusion of decorative Asian saris for all occasions, followed by Omar Mansoor's western spin on Hollywood glamour in silk jersey dresses.

The a menswear range came curtsey of Julian Trivedi, who showcased his collection of grey and black evening suits with embroidered detailing on the cuffs and lapels, as well his quilted jacket range teamed with jodhpurs pants.

Strand of Silks displayed a fusion of simple shift dresses made modern, with either sequinned patterns, a butterfly motif or dragon butterfly print and the finale women's range by Andrea Galer, who's corseted story underpinned her collection in a neutral colour palette.

Fashion show over, then Anita, Anu and Mandeep of UK girl band "Serese" took to the stage and performed a medley of tunes, with a sexy gusto, that'll make any die hard Spice Girls veterans run for cover, many did towards the bar as drinks and more canapés were served while guessed enjoyed the performance by Metz and Trix with a copy of “A” Lifestyle Magazine, to read the view points on how to deal with a cheating lover, keep fit, make money and be a better person, while driving a fast car.
